The new FSCOM 2004 GUI has been improved in many ways.
Now you create with a few mouse clicks long flights and never loose track of things.

With its featues FSCOM 2004 brings a lot more of realism into Flight Simulator 2004.

FSCOM 2004 is a flight planning tool, which creates out of a flightplan an FS2004 ABL Flight. The created flights are based on real airline flights. Own sound files for communication between controllers and the pilot are used.

The following list shows some of the implemented features:

• In the SR-Version you communicate additionally via speech recognition. Therefore the MS-Speech engine has been integrated and has been optimized for the use with Flight Simulator. With a 2.2 Ghz or above CPU and some training sessions for the Speech Engine provided, you'll have up to 95% verification.
• With the ATC, which works frequencies and coordinates dependent you hear realistic radio traffic from other planes in the airea, which are on the same frequency. You may download and implement additional soundfiles, which are available for free on different sites. Downloaded files can than be linked to specific radar control sectors, or frequencies.
• Departure and arrival procedures (SID's and STAR's) are supported. Using the DME feature gives you the possibility to produce highly realistic procedures.
• During a flight you process 8 different checklists in teamwork with your virtual copilot
• Individual checklists can be defined for different aircraft types
• Editable/extendable navigation database
• Optional: automatic route calculating
• Setting up the top of descend by changing the values of descend rate and speed
• Holding patterns
• The copilots tasks can be changed very easily. This makes it possible to change the difficulty depending whether you are beginner or experienced.

The integrated speech recognition enables you to communicate with controllers and copilot via a headset. It doesn't only recognize some single words but it is able to understand whole sentences spoken according to the rules of air navigation. You may additionally make use of the keyboard

	With a few mouse clicks you create a new Flight Simulator 2004 flight
	Departure procedures (SID's), arrival procedures (STAR's) and waypoints can be added to or removed from the route by mouse click. You can integrate several SID's and STAR's at the same time so that you have different Take-off and landing directions on every flight.

	A lot of options making it possible setup the flight according to your needs.
	Decide yourself about the tasks done by the copilot, about the frequency other plane's ATC being played or if it shall come to technical dysfunctions.

With the Autoroute feature you only define the two airports; With just another click FSCOM creates the Flight.

Put on every waypoint you like a holding pattern .

Arrival- and departure procedures can be created easily and can be saved for later using. Defining the DME's allows to rebuild any realistic SID or STAR.

You may setup the starting situation by determining date, time, amount of fuel in % and the parking position of the aircraft.

You may setup within FSCOM the weather for the flight, which will be loaded by Flight Simulator 2004

You may create further ATC-profiles. Several authentic recordings are available online for free. This makes it possible to hear on each frequency and at each airport the fitting sound file

Then simply link your ATC profiles with radar sectors and airports

The program layout can be changed for your individual taste. These settings can be saved in a profile for later use.

The integrated navigation database contains all data from Flight Simulator 2004 and can be edited/extended manually.

	FSCOM registers all aircrafts installed to Flight Simulator in his own database. This makes it possible to calculate accurate altitudes and climb/descend rates
	Individual checklists can be created for each aircraft type. Choose from a list the different options and answers.

In-Flight key settings can be adapted.
