Will FSCOM work with the PMDG 737NG or other commercial panels?
It will work. But the virtual copilot is not able to serve the autopilot. This is caused by the panel itself. It seems that these panels are not using the standard functions and variables declared in the FS9 panel SDK. How ever, this can only be fixed by the panel producer itself.

I cannot get the speech recognition config to work. Each time I open it I get an error message " The active property must be TRUE before the speaker list method can be called"
you probably have an incompatible version of the speech recognition installed. Please try this:

  1. Click on control panel/software, there you see all installed products
  2. Please uninstall other versions than "Microsoft Speech Recognition Engine 4.0 (English)", even if it is higher. FSCOM works with the version 4.0 only!
  3. Insert the FSCOM CD and install the 4 files you find in the folder "SR".

Every time I ask for the “takeoff checklist”, by speech or by using the “4 key”, I get a crash to desktop.
This happened on a few computers and is probably hardware dependent, How ever, if you have this problem, please download the new update. It fixes this problem.

"Alt Return" for changing the view mode does not work.
We couldn't figure out, why yet. Of course you can still use the FS2004 menu to change the view mode. If you are in full screen mode simply press ALT to show the menu then click "View".
